What is the CMS Connect?

Don’t take our word for it
“best conference I have ever attended, and I have been to many.” Tom Cranstoun, aka The AEM Guy after attending CMS Kickoff 24

We started with CMS Kickoff 23, which was quite well received. We made it bigger and importantly better at CMS Kickoff 24. Now we’re building on it, taking it to Canada for a summer edition, and working on making it even better with input and participation from our global CMS Expert community.

Good times at CMS Kickoff 24 with Darren Petersen (Lullabot), Derek Barka (Silvertech), Dave Rasmussen & Becky Brown (J&J), Debbie Tucek (Kentico) and Mike Wills (BlueModus).

Conferences come in many shapes and sizes. This one has about 100 participants and you can already secure your ticket.

The sessions are without the usual sales and marketing pitches. More details coming during the next months. There’s also plenty of time for conversations, so that you can bring actionable insights back to your desk and your projects.

Who will you meet?

“Everybody who cares about putting content in front of eyeballs should come to this show” What Fastr CTO Ryan Breen says next really knocks it out of the park⚾

It’s an international conference with confirmed participants from Europe and North America. It’s a friendly mix of vendors, agencies, analysts and customers who get together to learn, network and talk about what really matters in CMS right now.

Among the vendors who have already confirmed are Agility, Conscia.ai, CoreMedia, Directus, Drupal, Fastr, Kentico, Kontent.ai, Little Forest, Magnolia, Netlify, TechGuilds, TYPO3, Optimizely and Searchstax. As you can see, it’s not just the usual CMS vendors, but also from the larger ecosystem.

On the agency and consulting side, experienced implementation folks from fine companies like Contextual Code, CTC Solutions, dotfusion, Konabos, Stellar Elements and Toumoro have already made the commitment to learning and networking. Talk to them about what happens “when the rubber hits the road” and they’ll help you towards project success.

Among the analysts joining us are Matt Garrepy from CMS Critic and our host Janus Boye from Boye & Co in Denmark.

A key point is also digital leaders from the customer-side. Here you can meet seasoned practitioners from American Bath Group, Government of Québec, McGill University, SUNY Oswego, TELUS and several others.

Venue

The conference is held at Montréal CoWork, a place we selected for its uplifting atmosphere and environment conducive to creativity, new ideas and teamwork. It’s located in Le Plateau-Mont-Royal, a hip part of Montreál. Surrounded by quirky shops, colorful buildings with twirling iron staircases, and third-wave coffee shops.

The nearest Metro is Mont-Royal station which is less than 5 minutes walk away.

CoWork is not surrounded by hotels, but we recommend Hôtel De l'ITHQ, which is less than 1km away or just 1 stop on the Metro. There’s also Sonder and Le Métro Mont Royal HomeInMontreal.

The Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL) is the main passenger airport in Montréal with direct international flights to all over North America and Europe.
