About Nassim Amirian

Nassim is a multidisciplinary designer with more than 14 years of experience in industrial design, architectural lighting, retail and spatial environments, and design project management. Her work starts from a simple idea: good design helps people understand a space, connect with a brand and move through an experience with clarity. She combines creative thinking with technical understanding and structured project work.

Over her career she has worked on retail, commercial and public-space projects, from store environments and workplaces to educational buildings, pharmacies and cultural spaces. Most recently she was Senior Lighting Designer at NOi. concept design in Hamburg. Before that she was Lighting Designer and Project Manager at Gedike & Döpper, working on commercial, retail and public-space projects. Her work has covered concept development, lighting and spatial planning, technical documentation and stakeholder coordination, from early design stages through implementation.

Since 2024 she has expanded into digital product design and UX/UI through independent projects, working with user research, information architecture, prototyping and design systems in Figma. Alongside this, she has taught online courses in retail lighting design at Light Life Academy since 2021. That puts her in an unusual position to think about experiences across both physical and digital touchpoints.
