About Pardis Shafafi
Pardis is a British-Iranian political anthropologist and marketing director with over 15 years of cross-sectoral experience. She is the co-founder of the Do No Harm Framework for Design, recognized by Fast Company’s 2024 100 Best Workplaces for Innovators, and currently serves as Executive Editor of Anthropology in Action.
Her work spans humanitarian operations, design ethics, creative leadership, and academic research. Pardis regularly speaks and writes on topics such as political violence, ethical design, and anthropology, with published work in PoLAR, Obesity Reviews, and Open Democracy, and appearances in BBC, Al Jazeera, and The Economist.
