About Tobi Stadelmaier
Tobi brings a wealth of experience from working at the intersection of engineering, regulation and innovation, where “move fast and break things” simply doesn’t work. He has been Head of Engineering at TCC since 2025.
Before joining TCC, he spent almost 20 years at CMS vendor CoreMedia. He joined in 2004 as a technical consultant and went on to work as a delivery manager and agile product lead. After a year as senior product owner at Goodgame Studios, he returned to CoreMedia in 2016 as VP Engineering, a role he held for nine years.
Beyond work, Tobi is one of those people who makes big ideas feel grounded and human. He's also an avid swimmer, solid table tennis player and big fan of the local football club Altona 93.
About TCC
TCC is a Hamburg-based telehealth company that supports hospitals with the remote care of intensive care patients. Founded in 2020 by intensive care physician Prof. Dr. Christian Storm and David Barg, it began operating in 2022. Its team of experienced intensivists in Hamburg and Berlin provides 24/7 telemedicine support, risk analysis and prevention for hospitals that need specialist expertise around the clock.
TCC builds its own software and AI as part of the service. That includes algorithms trained on high-frequency vital signs data and real-time dashboards that support clinical decisions. Its customers include Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin, Krankenhaus Region Hannover, the University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein and Netcare in South Africa, covering more than 3,000 hospital beds worldwide. In 2025 the company raised €20 million in Series A funding to keep growing.
