Inspired by a visionary Danish elementary school outside Aarhus with groundbreaking results, we made growing together our theme for 2019. At the school they say study hard and be nice and that’s resonated well with our friendly and growing community as well.

As a learning community, we rely not on breaking news, but on insights from of our members and extended network of friends. We rely on you finding the time to invest in learning, attending our events, reading the stories, and perhaps also sharing them, but ideally reflecting and providing feedback, because that’s how we grow together.

Below you’ll find our top five articles from 2019. It’s been a productive year with 40 articles published, so it feels unfair to single out just five. I invite you to go explore the many excellent posts from 2019, but as you probably know this is also the season of helpful lists, so here we go.

Office 365 adoption obstacles

In a very popular and honest story, Lil Sawyer shared from her Office 365 implementation journey while at Grand & Toy in Canada as Office 365 and SharePoint Solutions Manager.

Since deploying the “capture our time thieves” campaign, we find that by leveraging the apps, engaged individuals and teams are saving 5% to 15% of their time and getting back 2 to 6 hours per week to invest in learning the new tech, innovate, collaborate and pursue various growth goals.

How about starting meetings with a 1 minute silence? 

In his popular series on change, Max Bailey challenges dogma in organizational change methods; showing why they fail and presenting an alternative, more sustainable approach to change which focuses on the interpersonal aspects of change. This is the most popular one from his series, perhaps because it shares plenty of specific examples, like starting meetings in a different way.
