About Andy Adiwidjaja
Andy founded Adiwidjaja Teamworks in 2004 and has led the company ever since. His main focus is the goal-oriented conception and planning of projects. Starting from the customer’s goals, he turns requirements into concrete specifications and develops sustainable solutions. His strength is an integral understanding of systems and how they connect, which he describes as being constantly in search of complex problems to solve.
Before starting his own company, he worked as a freelance developer for Wunderman from 2000 to 2003. He studied business informatics (Wirtschaftsinformatik) at the University of Hamburg and holds a BSc (Honours) from The Open University, with a focus on systems management and business strategy.
Andy is active in the developer community and spoke at StripeCon Europe 2026 in Salzburg.

Adiwidjaja Teamworks is a Hamburg-based consultancy that advises companies and organisations on complex problems, from analysis and idea development to concrete concepts and implementation. It builds software, web applications, databases, websites and digital processes. Its specialty is what it calls “solutions consulting”.
The company works with a small core team of designers and developers and brings in freelancers as projects require. Rather than offering off-the-shelf products, it focuses on holistic solutions and custom tools designed for each organisation’s specific situation.
