About Benni Mack
Benni Mack is a respected technologist, open source contributor and one of the leading voices in the TYPO3 community. As TYPO3 Core Project Lead, he plays a central role in steering the evolution of TYPO3 CMS, championing quality, sustainability and developer experience across the project.
Benni is also Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at b13 GmbH, a Stuttgart-based digital agency focused on building high-performance, automated and future-proof web experiences using TYPO3 and modern open source tools. In his daily work he bridges business coordination, technical leadership and hands-on engineering, contributing to backend development, infrastructure setup and problem solving with a keen analytical mindset.
A lifelong learner and communicator, Benni thrives on collaboration and knowledge sharing. He contributes to multiple open source initiatives, engages with the PHP Framework Interoperability Group (PHP-FIG) and supports community-led efforts that strengthen TYPO3’s ecosystem.
