About Gavin Colborne

Gavin is the Founder and Managing Director of Little Forest, a UK-based software vendor specialising in web accessibility solutions for universities. He leads the development and delivery of tools focused on WCAG AA compliance, web governance, and web estate auditing, with the mission of enhancing inclusivity and usability for all website users and administrators.

He founded Little Forest in 2007, building it into a company with over two decades of focus on accessible, inclusive digital environments. Before that, Gavin worked as a Solution Architect at Realise, and earlier still as a Senior Technical Consultant with Interwoven in the UK, giving him a strong technical consulting background before moving into web accessibility and governance.

Gavin is also a long standing member of our CMS Expert group and also a frequent guest in our Product Manager community.

Gavin (2nd to the left) also joined us in Croatia at the Web Summer Camp in 2019

About Little Forest

Formed in London in 2007, Little Forest provides award-winning website Quality and Accessibility software, an essential part of any web strategy. Led by Gavin as Managing Director, the company specialises in helping universities and other organisations achieve WCAG AA compliance through tools for web governance and web estate auditing.

Little Forest believes that in measuring and planning what to improve, organisations can make things better, no matter where they start from. Its service monitors websites and helps teams improve the quality of their customer experiences, giving them visibility into accessibility and quality issues across their entire web estate so they can prioritise fixes and track improvement over time.

With nearly two decades of focus on accessible, inclusive digital environments, Little Forest works to make better websites by building better habits into how teams work - treating accessibility as an ongoing practice rather than a one-time fix.
