About Universidad Pontificia Comillas

Founded in 1890 and run by the Society of Jesus, Universidad Pontificia Comillas is a private Catholic university located in the heart of Madrid. It combines a long tradition of academic excellence with a humanistic approach to teaching, bringing together the ICAI School of Engineering, ICADE School of Law, and ICADE School of Business and Economics, alongside faculties in theology, canon law, and human and social sciences.

Comillas is consistently ranked among Spain's top universities and has built a strong international reputation, particularly through ICADE's business and law programmes and ICAI's focus on industrial technologies, telecommunications, and artificial intelligence. The university emphasises academic rigour, individualised attention for students, and a strong sense of social commitment, reflecting its Jesuit roots and mission of forming professionals dedicated to society.
