About Johnson & Johnson

Johnson & Johnson (J&J) is a global healthcare company founded in 1886 and headquartered in New Brunswick, New Jersey (USA). It operates worldwide and is listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: JNJ), with a long history of developing healthcare products across multiple domains.

Today, J&J is organised into two main business segments: Innovative Medicine (pharmaceuticals) and MedTech (medical technology and devices). Through these areas, the company focuses on bringing new therapies and technologies to patients, working across research, development, manufacturing, and commercialisation at global scale.

A key recent milestone was the separation of its former Consumer Health business into Kenvue, which became fully independent in August 2023. This shift sharpened J&J’s focus on Innovative Medicine and MedTech as its core operating structure.
