About Paul Leigh
Paul is Digital Content Strategist at the University of Limerick, a role he's held since 2023 after previously serving as the university's Web Officer for nearly five years. Before joining the University of Limerick, he built his content career at Bord na Móna, working up from Digital Marketing Support through Junior Web Content Editor to Web Content Editor, managing and creating content for the organisation's AES website and the Lough Boora Discovery Park website.
Across his career, Paul has focused on translating organisational priorities into content that works for real users - from editing and creating web content at a semi-state energy company to now shaping digital content strategy for one of Ireland's largest universities. His background spans both the hands-on craft of writing and editing for the web and the more strategic work of setting direction for how an institution communicates online, giving him a grounded, practical perspective on what makes university websites and digital content actually useful.
