About Sigrid Gramlinger-Moser

Sigrid Gramlinger-Moser serves on the board of Open Source Matters, Inc. since 2023 - the not-for-profit organisation that governs the Joomla! project - where she holds the elected role of Production Department Coordinator.

As Production Department Coordinator, she oversees the teams responsible for the Joomla! CMS itself: release management, the maintenance and feature work that keeps the platform current, and the coordination of the many volunteers who build and ship Joomla. She currently leads production-side coordination of Joomla's Sovereign Tech Fund Accessibility Project, a multi-milestone initiative to bring the CMS in line with modern accessibility standards.

Beyond her board role, Sigrid is a driving force behind the Joomla community's events. She is a co-organiser of the Joomla World Conference - the project's flagship global gathering - as well as JoomlaDays across the D-A-CH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and in Austria specifically. This event work puts her at the centre of where the Joomla community meets, learns, and connects in person.

Professionally, Sigrid is the founder of webgras, an Austrian web agency specialising in Joomla, where she works hands-on with small and medium-sized businesses on their websites and digital processes. She is a certified digital consultant in Austria, combining deep technical expertise with practical guidance for clients navigating their online presence.

Sigrid has been an active member of the Joomla community for years, contributing across the technical, organisational, and community sides of the project. She brings a practitioner's perspective grounded in day-to-day work with Joomla as an independent website professional based in Austria, paired with the governance and coordination view of a board member of a worldwide open-source project.

At Open Source CMS Conference 2026 she speaks as Joomla's Production Department Coordinator.

About Open Source Matters, Inc.

Open Source Matters, Inc. (OSM) is a US-incorporated non-profit created to serve the financial and legal interests of the Joomla! project — a free, open-source CMS that powers over 3% of the entire internet and around 7% of all CMS-driven websites, from small blogs to Fortune 500 companies. Rather than building the software itself, OSM handles the business side: managing Joomla!'s finances, holding its assets (domains, trademarks, copyright), signing partnership agreements on its behalf, and pursuing license or trademark breaches.

OSM is designed to adapt as Joomla!'s needs evolve, staying accountable through regular self-assessment and formal duties like reviewing by-laws, holding annual meetings, and publishing financial reports. The actual work of building Joomla! — past 90 million downloads — is done entirely by volunteers, with OSM providing the organizational backbone that lets that community operate and grow.
