What is UX Connect?

It all started in 2022 with a focus on reducing carbon footprints through low-energy websites. In 2023, we broadened the perspective and explored sustainability through the lens of the Sustainable Development Goals. By 2024, the event had grown even stronger with the support and participation of our global design leadership community.
Now, at UX Connect 2026, we’re looking ahead: how can we as designers not only improve design but transform how we work and the impact we make? Great design is no longer enough – it’s time for intentional design that drives meaningful change.
Expect sessions designed for reflection, dialogue, and connection. And with no product pitches or distractions, there’s plenty of space for honest conversations that lead to real, actionable insights you can take back to your work.
As design leader Antonia Fedder put it after attending UX Connect 2023:
“It was a rare experience to be at a conference where there’s truly space and time to think together.”

Venue
Once again, the event is held at Vertica on Åboulevarden 69, an iconic and historic building in the city centre of Aarhus, Denmark.
The building is from 1910 and originally built as a financial centre in what experts call a mixture of Dutch baroque and Danish classicism. Today it remains one of our most beautiful buildings and on the inside it is well restored and well-suited for networking and learning.
It’s just a few minutes walk from Aarhus Central Station and there are many hotels within 5 minutes walk.
Aarhus is well connected with good train connections and nearby airports are Aarhus (AAR), Aalborg (AAL) and Billund (BLL).
