Past 2026 CMS Experts meetings

The CMS Expert community goes back over a decade. We started in 2008 with the idea to bring customers, analysts, vendors and agencies together in this forum. In 2011 we then also launched a local chapter in North America and these days we cover broadly everything labelled digital experience.

June was:

• Chicago hosted by americaneagle.com. A brief summary by Rogelio Villanueva from who shared a legacy and journey in digital transformation, AI, Sitecore, Microsoft, and customer experience.

• Paris, where we met for the first time in over a decade

• Barcelona; a brief summary by our member Daniel Serrano from griddo and bit more reflections on the value of the open exchange

• Leeds where IDHL hosted us once again

• Montreal with two things that inspired the group leader Julian Mills and also Alex Dergachev on agencies are being pulled higher up the value chain

August was:

• Leiden at Crossphase office. Jeroen Fürst wrote a summary and shared his take on whether AI makes content modelling more important?

• Munich meeting at EineWeltHaus together with Benedek and the rest of the digital leaders met to talk about CMS, AI, and where digital leadership is headed in 2026.

September was:

• Boston at the New England Art Center, hosted by Matt Garrepy of CMS Critic. Eighteen CMS leaders, technologists, and enterprise buyers dug into agentic AI, structured content, and taxonomies for GenAI. Read Jean A. Alexandre's reflections on the meeting.
