Hamburg Collaboration Meeting 26

As has become our end-of-year tradition, we're back in Hamburg on Thursday, November 26 for our annual collaboration meeting — a day of learning, sharing and wrapping up the year together with peers from across Europe.

The format stays simple, because it works: an afternoon of short talks and open discussion from digital leaders, followed by an informal get-together once the sessions wrap up. Enterprise teams, public-sector leaders, product companies and agencies in one room, comparing notes on what's working and what isn't.

As Janus Boye put it after last year's meeting:

Program

The program is still taking shape, so check back as speakers and sessions are confirmed. Expect an afternoon of short, practical talks from digital leaders, followed by time to connect with peers over a dinner.

15:00 - 18:00 The sessions

We'll gather at Monday Consulting for an afternoon of lightning talks, around 10 minutes each, from digital leaders on the shifts we're all navigating. Last year that meant everything from agentic AI and accessibility to open source in public administration and the design of gingerbread things. Expect a similar spirit: short, practical and open to discussion.

18:00 - onwards Informal get-together & dinner

Around 18:00 we'll change location and head to an informal dinner nearby. No agenda for this part, just good food, a drink, and the conversations that don't fit into a session slot. Venue to be announced.

Host

This year we're hosted by our friends at Monday Consulting, a Hamburg digital agency and long-standing member of our community. The team builds CMS and digital experience platforms for insurers, banks, energy companies and the public sector. They're a CoreMedia Gold partner and Crownpeak Platinum partner, with a strong focus on accessibility. Recent projects include relaunching the website of Hamburg's investment and development bank, IFB Hamburg.

The sessions take place at their office at Schaartor 1, 20459 Hamburg, in the heart of the city, a short walk from Baumwall U-Bahn station.

What to expect

It's a full afternoon of sessions bringing together digital leaders from enterprise, public sector, product companies and agencies to share experiences and learn from each other.

Last year, our host Klaas Klaassen from adesso DX opened with a whiteboard exercise on what we'd established, what we'd tackle next, and which attitude would carry us there. Marc Schneider from Cognigy gave a clear-eyed reality check on agentic AI, Vladimir Schneider from SAP asked whether UX will thrive or fade in the age of AI, and Svenja Wiegemann from the City of Hamburg showed how service design is gaining a seat at the table in public administration — and the day closed with Hertje Brodersen on the design of gingerbread things, followed by live music and dinner.
